Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 9 p.m. today at Shelley-Virnig Funeral Chapel, Pierz. Parish prayers will be 8 tonight at the funeral chapel. Arnold Bauer was born July 3, 1924, in Morrill Township, Morrison County, to Arnold J.

and Mary (Breigenzer) Bauer. He farmed in Morrill Township until retiring and moving to Morrill in 1982. He moved to Country Manor Apartments, Sartell, in September of 1994. He then moved to Kamnic Lane Apartments, Pierz, and later to Rose Court Apartments. He moved to St.

Mary's Villa Nursing Home, Pierz, in December. Survivors include his sister, Betty Fleck, Morrill. He was preceded in death 1 by his parents; sisters, Marie Fussy and Rosella Pekarek; an infant brother and sister. Pallbearers will be Lawrence Schyma, Jerry Fussy, Fred and Tim Fleck, Audrey Christensen, Donald Swedziak, Donald Kujawa, Ben Kassalla, and Sidney Winscher. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.

He was a member of St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Elrosa; Belgrade VFW; and Greenwald Lions Club. Survivors include his wife; parents, Elrosa; daughter and sons, Deb Searcy, New London; Steve, Mark, and David, Elrosa; Jim, St. Martin; sister, Lorraine Nordmann, St. Martin; six granddaughters; and a great-granddaughter.

Camp in Fife, Mich. He was employed at an air craft plant in Los Angeles, and Chicago, and at R.C.A. in Hollywood, Calif. He worked in radio announcing engineering in Del Rio, Texas; Charler City, Iowa; Wadena; St. Falls; and Bemidji.

Survivors include his wife; son, John, Prior Lake; brothers sisters, Tony, Pembroke Pines, Williams, Regina Gulotta, Dahlia Giardono, Rita Libertori, and Angelo, Rockford, and two grandchildren.
