Cloud. Hazel Benson, 96, Princeton PRINCETON- Hazel M. Benson, 96, died Saturday at Fairview Northland Regional Hospital in Princeton. Funeral arrangements are being made by William-Hanson-Kaun Funeral Home of Princeton. Bernard Brown, 46, Big Lake BIG LAKE Funeral services will be 11 a.m.

Tuesday at Saron Lutheran Church in Big Lake, for Bernard W. "Bernie" Brown, 46, who died Thursday at St. Francis Hospital, Blue Island, Ill. The Rev. Robert Rusert will officiate.

Burial will be private. Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday at Peterson-Grimsmo Chapel, Monticello, and an hour prior to services at the church Tuesday. Bernard William Brown was born Dec. 8, 1950, in Willmar to Bernard W.

and Ida (Collier) Brown. He married Judy K. Stamer Dec. 1, 1973, at Our Savior Lutheran Church in Bird Island. They lived in St.

Cloud until moving to Big Lake in 1987, where he had worked road construction and truck driving. Survivors include his wife, Judy; son and daughters, Paul Anthony, Katie Lynn, and Abby Rebecca, all of Willmar; mother, Willmar; brothers and sisters, Elmer, Las Vegas, Maxine Schmit, Anna Beecroft, David, and Bridget Lemke, of Willmar; D. Thomas, Eugene, Patrick, Minot, N.D.; Barb Lampher, Olivia; Marian Gartner, Altomonte Springs, Fla. He was preceded in death by his father; and infant brother, Paul Anthony. Alvina Brugh Alvina Brugh, 80, Waite Park Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m.

Tuesday at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Waite Park, for Alvina F. Brugh, 80, 22- 11th Avenue Waite Park, who died FriAssumption Home, Cold Spring. Rev. Ronald Weyrens will officiate.

Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Friends may call from 4:30 to 9 p.m. Monday at the Williams Funeral Home, St. Cloud. Waite Park American Legion Post 428 Auxiliary will pray 6 p.m.

Monday at the funeral home, followed by St. Joseph's Christian Women at 6:30, and parish prayers at 7. Alvina F. Brugh was born April 5, 1917, in Meire Grove to Bernard and Anna (Grumke) Haskamp. She married William "Russell" Brugh April 22, 1939, at St.

Joseph's Catholic Church, Waite Park. She was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church, St. Joseph's Christian Women, and the Waite Park American Legion Post 428 Auxiliary. Survivors include her husband, William sons and daughters, James, William Dorothy Scherer and Alice Kremer, all of St.

Cloud; Mary Backes, Dunkirk, John, Waite Park; 11 grandchildren and three great -grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Patricia Terwey; brothers, Henry, Joseph, Anthony, Bernard, Norbert, Raymond, and John; and sisters, Mary Meyer and Rose Weiner. Pallbearers will be grandsons, Russel and Jason Terwey, Ronald Scherer, Bradley Kremer, and Alex and Andy Brugh. Patricia Fitzgerald, 53, Sauk Rapids Patricia L. Fitzgerald, 53, of 2780- 52nd Avenue NE, Sauk Rapids, died Saturday at her daughter's home in Atwater.

Funeral arrangements are being made by Daniel Funeral Home, St. Cloud. Ruth Gustafson, 91, Little Falls LITTLE FALLS Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Bethel Lutheran Church for Ruth A. Gustafson, 91, who died Friday at the Lutheran Senior Citizens Home in Little Falls.

The Rev. Kent Garinghouse will officiate. Burial will be in Darling Cemetery, Darling Township, Morrison County. Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday and from 8 a.m.

to 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Shelley Funeral Chapel in Little Falls. Ruth A. Gustafson was born Nov. 29, 1905, in Minneapolis, Hennepin County, to John and Cora "Hughes" Nordholm.

In 1917 her family moved to Darling Township where they farmed. She married Hjalmer Gustafson Nov. 29, 1921, which was her 16th birthday. Following their marriage, they lived in Little Falls and in 1945 moved to Darling Township and farmed. In 1955, they moved to Greene Prairie Fish Lake where they built, owned and operated Gustafson's Lakeside Cabins until 1967 when they retired.

They continued to live in one of the cabins they had built until the summer of 1989 when they moved to Little Falls and became residents of the Pine Grove Manor. She was a life member of Darling Church, and a member of Bethel Lutheran Church in Little Falls, Ladies WELCA, Bible study, Morrison County Historical Society, and the Pine Grove Zoological Zoo Society. Survivors include her son, Donald, Little Falls; daughter, Marjorie Kaiser, Aberdeen, S.D.; sister, Thelma Thelander, Anaheim, seven grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. She was preceded in by parents; husband (Jan. 1990); and sister, Margaret.

George Henry, 80, Sauk Centre SAUK CENTRE Henry, 80, died Saturday at St. Michael's Hospital in Sauk Centre. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Paul's Catholic Church, Sauk Centre.

The Rev. Tim Wenzel will officiate. Burial will be in the parish cemetery with military honors provided by the Sauk Centre Veterans Honor Guard. Friends may call after 3:30 p.m. Monday and from 8 to 10:30 a.m.

Tuesday at the Patton-Schad Funeral Home in Sauk Centre. A veterans prayer service will be 7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home, followed by parish prayers at 8. George Henry was born Jan. 18, 1917, in Ward Springs to Isaac and Anna (Albers) Henry.

He married Erma Klein July 31, 1940, at St. Paul's Catholic Church in Sauk Centre. He was a former employee of the Melrose Produce and Kranz Oil Station. He was a member of St. Paul's Catholic Church and the Paul F.

Donart VFW Post 2853. Survivors include his wife, Erma; son, Richard, Melrose; daughters, Nona Klaphake, Spring Hill; Rita Frieler, Greenwald; Ann Marie Dalton, Little Sauk; Bonnie Schloegl, Buffalo Lake; sister, Mary Dippold, St. Cloud, brother, Frank, San Diego, 24 grandchildren and 39 great -grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Henrietta Mayers and Helen Quarve; and brothers, Leonard and 1 John. Pallbearers will be Duane Frieler, Jamie Schloegl, Ronald Dalton, Ken Mayer, Gene Henry and David Klaphake.

Kenneth Miner, 48, Long Prairie LONG PRAIRIE Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Stephan-Stein Funeral Chapel, Long Prairie, for Kenneth Miner, 48, a resident of rural Clotho, who died Friday en route to the Douglas County Hospital, Alexandria. The Rev. Nick Bell will officiate. Burial will be in the Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery, Little Falls.

Military honors at the chapel will be provided by the Long Prairie VFW and American Legion Posts. Friends may call from 3 to 8 p.m. Monday at the Stephan-Stein Funeral Home, Long Prairie. Kenneth Miner was born April 7, 1949, in Perham to Ward and Verda (Elofson) Miner. He grew up in Minneapolis, graduated from Roosevelt High School and entered the Navy December 9, 1968 until October 1971.

He lived in Minneapolis after the service and moved to Long Prairie in 1977. He worked at the Osakis Post Office. He was a member of the Long Prairie American Legion, Long Prairie Sportsmen Club trap shooting, American Heritage Hunting Club, Bend, Golden Eagle Trap Range, Alexandria, and the Minnesota Motorcycle Riders Association. Survivors include his sisters, Phyllis Turbes, Maple Grove; Donna Schiller, Richville; Doris, Crookston; and Marilyn Shaske. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Pallbearers will be Randy Triplett, Warren Schiller, Alan Rasmussen, Todd Miner, Dick Bauer, Dusty Rhodes, Mat Turbes and Bob Kruzel. John Raab John Raab, 37, Avon AVON Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Monday at St. Joseph Catholic church, St. Joseph, for John L.

Raab, 37, who died Friday at St. Cloud Hospital from injuries received in a motorcycledeer accident on Stearns County Road 2 one mile south of St. Stephen. The Rev. Florian Muggli will officiate.

Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 9 p.m. Sunday and after 12 noon Monday at the Benson Funeral Home, St. Cloud. Parish prayers will be 7 p.m.

Sunday at the funeral home, followed by Catholic Order of Foresters and St. Joseph Court of Avon at 8. John L. Raab was born April 2, 1960, in St. Cloud to Leo G.

and Joan (Ostendorf) Raab. He married Joan I. Kremers Aug. 18, 1984, at St. Benedict's Catholic Church in Avon.

He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in St. Joseph, Catholic Order of Foresters, St. Joseph Court of Avon. He had worked at Polar Tanks in Holdingford for 16 years and for the past years had worked at Komo Machines in Sauk Rapids as a welder and saw operator.

Survivors include his parents, Leo and Joan Raab, Avon; wife, Joan; son and daughter, Josh and Tracy, both at home; brothers and sisters, David, Paul, Jim and Joe, all of Avon; Leo Holdingford; Robert, St. Joseph; Agnes Fuechtmann, Melrose; Marcella Reisdorf, Sartell; and Karen Kobylinski, Grey Eagle. He was preceded in death by an infant sister, Barbara. Pallbearers will be Dave Maciej, Lloyd Lashinski, Huls, Hartung, Al Arnold and Dale Hasch. Richard Ross, 79, Sauk Centre SAUK CENTRE Richard L.

Ross, 79, Sauk Centre, died Saturday at his home. Funeral arrangements are being made by Patton-Schad Funeral Service of Sauk Centre. Leo Scheller, 77, Monticello MONTICELLO Leo B. Scheller, 77, died Saturday at Mercy Medical Center, Coon Rapids. Funeral services will be 11 a.m.

Thursday at St. Philip Catholic Church, Hankinson, N.D. The Revs. John Anderson and Joseph Huebsch will officiate. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.

Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Peterson-Grimsmo Chapel of Monticello, and 9 to 11 a.m. Thursday at the church in North Dakota. There will be a 7 p.m. prayer service at the funeral home on Tuesday.

Leo B. Scheller was born Feb. 3, 1920, in Hankinson, N.D. to John R. and Katherine (Gotterfried) Scheller.

He married Arlene Wurl May 4, 1943, in Hankinson, N.D. at St. Philip Catholic Church. In 1964 the couple moved to Minnesota due to his job with the Soo Line Railroad. They lived in northeast Minneapolis, Isanti, and for the past six years, Monticello.

He retired in 1972. Survivors include his wife, Arlene; daughters, Sandy Harvey, Burnsville; Roxanne, Spring Lake Park; son, Mark, Anoka; brother, Raymond, St. Paul; sisters, Veronica McQueen, Bismark, N.D.; Patricia Porter, Des Moines, Iowa; Frances Boelke, Glenwood; and nine grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; and sons, Keith and Neil. Pallbearers will be Scott, Todd, Aaron and Brent Harvey, Eric Scheller, and Craig Boelke.

Andrew Silvers Andrew Silvers, 78, Farming FARMING Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Monday at St. Catherine's Catholic Church, Farming, for Andrew Silvers, 78, 27006 County Road 23, who died Friday at the Albany Area Hospital. The Rev. Robert Wieber, OSB, will officiate.

Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Friends may call after 4 p.m. Sunday at the Wenner Funeral home, Richmond. Catholic Aid will pray 7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, followed by parish prayers at 8.

Andrew Silvers was born July 27, 1918, in Farming to William and Helen (Geisen) Silvers. He married Joeletta Wieber Oct. 21, 1947, in St. Catherine's Catholic Church, Farming. He was a United States Army veteran of World War II, serving from June 14, 1942 to Sept.

5, 1945. He served in the 14th Armored Replacement Battalion. He was stationed in Italy, Spain and North Africa and received a Purple Heart. He owned and operated Silver's Oil Company. He drove school bus for the Albany School District for more than 30 years and was a member of the Catholic Aid Society, St.

Catherine's parish, Frank Kray American Legion Post 455 of Cold Spring, and had served as the Farming Township Clerk from 1982 to 1994. He had also been a state fire warden for many years. He worked with Meals on Wheels for four years and was on the board of the Community Senior Center in Albany. Survivors include his sons and daughters, Anita Loechler, Rochester; Mark, St. Cloud; Fred, Eden Prairie; Tim, Penfelt, N.Y.; Tom, Maple Grove; Maureen Gertken, St.

Michael; brothers, Ted, Farming; Ervin, Albany; Bill, St. Cloud; Ray, Richmond; sisters, Rosie Rea, Farming; Helen Mauer, Little Falls; Sr. Lillian Silvers, Rochester; Hilde Lauer, Albany; and 10 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife (in 1996); parents, and brother, Robert. Pallbearers will be family members.

Winscher was born Dec. 26, 1971, in Little Falls to Garold H. "Gary" and Patricia A. (Poster) Winscher. He married Lori Boser April 5, 1991, at St.

Joseph's Catholic Church in Pierz. They later divorced. He was a former employee of Falls Fabricating and was working for Ideal Tree Service in Buckman and Gold Plump in St. Cloud. He was a member of St.

Michael's Catholic Church in Buckman. $0 Survivors include his son and daugh ter, Nathan James and Amanda Marie, both of Pierz; parents; brother and sisters, Mark, Kimberly, and Paula Rouchleau, all of Pierz; and grandparents, Sydney and Rita Winscher, and Lawrence and Leora Poster, all of Pierz. Cloud to Frank and Louise (Hoffman) Stang. He married Lucietta Balder in 1946, she preceded him in death in 1962. He married Adell Skay July 20, 1963, in Avon. He worked as a supply officer for VA Medical Centers, retiring in 1979. He was a member of VFW Post 428 in St.

Cloud and St. Benedict's Church, Avon. Survivors include his wife, Adell; sons, William, South Haven; Gary, St. Cloud; Michael, St. Joseph; Robert, Sauk Rapids; James, Sartell; John, San Antonio; Barb McMillen, Waynesburg, daughters, Cheryl Johnston, Marianna, Mary Jo Oehrlein, St.

Cloud; Debbie Thon, Chugiak, Alaska; sisters, Mary Lou Reinert, St. Cloud; and Geraldine "Jerry" Chmieleski, Mission, Texas; and 16 grandchildren.
